Stearns Wharf closed to the public until further notice
SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif.– Stearns Wharf is closed to both car and foot traffic as of 4 p.m. Thursday following rainfall and high surf tides.
Existing cars on the wharf will have access to the exit lane to vacate the area. There is no exact time for reopening as city officials monitor the situation.
As of 4 p.m. today Stearns Wharf has been closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The exit lane will remain open until all existing vehicles are off the Wharf. We will continue to assess the situation and determine when it is safe to reopen the wharf. pic.twitter.com/lys5ayT9xp
