SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The railroad tracks near Highway 101 and Las Positas Road in Santa Barbara were temporarily closed on Monday afternoon while Santa Barbara City Fire crews tackled a small vegetation fire, according to the Santa Barbara City Fire Department.
The fire was reported around 2:10 p.m. on Monday, and responding units found a 50-foot spot vegetation fire along the railroad tracks, according to Battalion Chief Robert Mercado.
