Car goes over side of cliff near Isla Vista
ISLA VISTA, Calif. - A vehicle was found at the bottom of a beachside cliff in Isla Vista late Saturday night.
Santa Barbara County Fire crews responded around 11:07 p.m. to the beach near the 6800 block of Del Playa Drive.
Vehicle off of cliff, 6800 Block of Del Playa. Islam Vista. C/T 1107 PM last night. SBC responded 2 Engines 1 truck and a BC for a vehicle 30-40 over cliff in IV. Upon inv. and search there was no patient found and vehicle was recovered. Under investigation by law. pic.twitter.com/Trjx5YCY9d

Firefighters said the car was about 30 to 40 feet down. No driver or passengers were found in the area.
The vehicle was hoisted back up to the top of the cliff Sunday morning.
The incident is under investigation.
