Santa Barbara County reports additional death related to COVID-19

SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. -- Santa Barbara County Public Health reports an additional death related to COVID-19 on Thursday afternoon.

The individual was over 70 years old and was a Santa Maria resident.

They had underlying medical conditions.

They contracted the virus from a congregated facility outbreak.

As of Thursday, there are 118 deaths with a total of 9,540 COVID-19 cases.
