Hundreds of SoCal Edison customers lose power in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Hundreds of Southern California Edison customers lost power Wednesday evening in and around Santa Barbara.

According to the SCE outage map, more than 700 customers in downtown Santa Barbara and beyond lost power around 6 p.m.

Another power outage was reported in the Montecito area where about 300 customers lost power.

The cause of the outages was listed as unknown.
