Firefighters respond to structure burning in Buellton

BUELLTON, Calif. -- Firefighters responded to a structure fire in Buellton on Monday evening.

It was first reported at around 4:34 p.m. at 1301 McMurray Road in Buellton.

Santa County Fire responded with three engines, a truck along with a battalion chief.

At arrival, the first fire engine say the structure was fully involved with possible one occupant inside. After an intensive search, fire officials say there was no one inside.

Large plumes of black smoke could be seen from throughout the Santa Ynez Valley.

Firefighters responded to a structure fire in Buellton that produced a large amount of black smoke Monday evening.

Firefighters are on scene working to extinguish the blaze.

Strong winds are currently blowing in the area.

This fire is currently under investigation.

County Fire say there were no injuries.
