SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Local non-profit Easy Lift Transportation partnered with local Girl Scouts to give passengers a box of cookies with every ride on Valentine's Day.

Easy Lift will be providing each of its riders with a complimentary box of Girl Scout cookies to show their appreciation for the people they serve.

The Executive Director of Easy Lift Transportation gave the following statement:

“Who doesn’t love the Girl Scouts! And we love the people we serve. We tried this out last year and it was a real hit. It’s a great way to show appreciation for all our passengers and the cookies really brighten everyone’s day.”

Ernesto Paredes, Executive Director of Easy Lift Transportation

Money made from selling girl scout cookies will fund activities, outings and charitable donations made by the troop throughout the year.

Girl Scout cookie sales will continue through March 8th this year.
