LOS ALAMOS, Calif. - If you were driving on Highway 101 on Saturday, you may have noticed some smoke just north of Los Alamos.

Fortunately, there is no need for concern. The smoke is coming from a controlled agricultural burn on a property along the southbound side of the highway.

It appeared that old grapevines were being burned, resulting in some smokey conditions in the area.

It is common for farmers to perform these types of burns during the winter season in order to dispose of old crops while the fire risk is lower.
