Thanksgiving Pizza served with all the trimmings

GOLETA, Calif.

Some people are thankful for Thanksgiving pizza!

The owner of Santa Barbara Woodfire Catering set up his oven at Captain Fatty's Brewery in Goleta on the night before Thanksgiving.

Stephen Meyer and his crew served Thanksgiving pizza to recent Cave Fire evacuees who haven't had time to cook. They also served people who won't have a traditional holiday.

It is made to order with turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and green beans on the special pizza dough made with beer.

Al Flinck said, "Well, that is Thanksgiving dinner on a pizza and it's really good."

Stephen Meyer and his wife created the business to give back.

"The dough is just an avenue to put food on. "

He teared up when he said what he was thankful for this year.

"All my friends and family, I'll tell you it has been a wonderful life," said Meyer.
