Columnist releases new collection
SANTA BARBARA, Calif.
Award winning columnist Starshine Roshell is celebrating the release of her fourth book entitled, "Lather, Rage, Repeat"
She signed copies of her new book at Modern Times Brewery on State Street in Santa Barbara on Wednesday night.
"It is a collection of my best columns over the last 6 years. It was about time for a new one, so I put it out. It is called Lather, Rage, Repeat because between menopause and out president I have been a little cranky recently,0 said Roshell. "
Roshell's columns have been printed in the Santa Barbara Independent and other papers for years.
Her latest column "Best Husband So Far, Hands-Down" is a tribute to her husband on their 25th anniversary. It reads like a love letter about his hands.
Her husband helped out at the book-signing and jokied it was T-M-I, or too much information.
One of the things her fans appreciate is her take on real life.
