Day two of the Kyle Doan search continues for the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Department today

SAN MIGUEL, Calif. -- San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Department continues their two-day search efforts for missing 5-year-old Kyle Doan today in the Salinas River.

Local and state agencies gathered this morning for the briefing and have headed out for a full day of search for any evidence Kyle's location.

The search began yesterday with over 300 search and rescue trained personnel.

Kyle Doan was ripped away from his mother's arms in January by floodwaters.

At this time SLOC Sheriff's Dept. is asking the community to not join any voluntary searches due to dangerous risks.
