Local fire crews offer Holiday safety tips to the community

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- Local fire crews on the Central Coast say there is an increased risk of fires during the Holiday Season.

Cal Fire SLO said to keep trees 3 feet away from heaters and fireplaces.

They also recommend watering Christmas trees daily.

Toni Davis with Cal Fire SLO recommends turning off Christmas lights at night.
