San Luis Obispo attracts visitors during holiday season

SAN LUIS OBISPO, San Luis Obispo is a popular location with the holiday season approaching.

SLO is a place to be to celebrate the holidays with families and friends.

“This has become a little family tradition. We like to come out and see Santa Claus and the lights and merry go round every year just keep getting better and better. So it's a fun outing. Just for a little santa visit. And then we go to dinner and go shopping. So become a tradition for us," said Megan Reinhart, visiting from Arroyo Grande.

“The quaint, small town feeling that we have and it's extremely walkable. It's it's a draw for everyone and good food too," said Donna Templeton, San Luis Obispo resident.

Shopping the stores in downtown SLO was one of the things people were doing. but the lights were something people had to checkout.

“I know there's a lot of like, light shows they do around here and I think this is probably one of the coolest ones I've seen down and down here. There's a lot of lights, a lot, a lot of lights especially just not even just downtown right here, but walking through from the parking garage, even there's a lot of lights. And I thought that was really, really cool," said Truly Hawkins, Visiting from Atascadero.
