Vegetation fire near Highway 101 slows traffic heading into Arroyo Grande
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. – Firefighters responded to a vegetation fire in Nipomo along Highway 101 that slowed traffic heading into Arroyo Grande on Sunday morning.
The fire was located near southbound Highway 101 and Los Berros Rd in Nipomo, according to CAL FIRE San Luis Obispo.
The department said the fire reached about a quarter acre with potential for two acres as of 9:38 a.m.
The call time for the fire was around 9:23 a.m. Sunday, according to a dispatch center.
