GROVER BEACH, Calif. – Grover Beach police arrested a man who was wanted for his role in an early morning stabbing over the weekend.

On Monday evening, Grover Beach police located and arrested Benjamin Robert Sedeno, 38, of Santa Maria for his involvement in the stabbing. Police asked for the public's help locating Sedeno Saturday.

At around 12:48 a.m. early Saturday morning, police responded to reports of a stabbing on the 100 block of South 11th Street in Grover Beach.

Police arrived to find a man suffering from multiple non-life threatening stab wounds. The man identified Sedeno as his attacker. Police said Sedeno fled the scene before police arrived.

Sedeno was arrested on complaints of assault with a deadly weapon and violating his parole.

He's been booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
