Sunset Drive-In to reopen Friday in San Luis Obispo
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. -- San Luis Obispo Sunset Drive-In movie theatre is set to reopen on Friday.
The Drive-In located at 255 Elks Lane in San Luis Obispo is reopening after closing back in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their Facebook post says they will be open seven nights this week from May 15 to May 21.
The drive-in will be implementing social distancing protocols to keep customers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The drive-in will put one car in between poles and when customers are in line for the concessions, they ask customers to leave 6 ft. between each person in line.
They also ask people in line for the restroom to leave 6 ft. distance from another person. There will also be a three person limit to restrooms at a time.
The drive-in asks customers to be patient as staff members are still putting together a routine for the concession stands and the restrooms. They say without the support of customers in the concession stand, they cannot stay open.
The box office opens at 8 p.m. with movies starting at 8:30 p.m.
The movies that will be showing this week will be Trolls - World Tour and Secret Life of Pets 2.
