Man arrested on multiple charges in San Luis Obispo County
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. -- Paso Robles Police arrested a man for multiple offenses on Friday.
Police arrested Ryan Dutra, 41, for auto theft, being under the influence, resisting arrest and a felony warrant.
On Friday, officers from Paso Robles Police Department located a stolen Nissan Altima parked in the 300 block of Oak Street.
During the investigation, officers learned Dutra had parked the vehicle and was currently inside of a residence.
Officer attempted to contact Dutra but he fled.
Officers quickly took Dutra into custody.
Officers located the keys to the vehicle along with Dutra's belongings and there was paperwork in the vehicle with Dutra's name on it.
Officers spoke with Dutra and determined he was under the influence of narcotics.
The San Luis Obispo County Auto Theft Task Force was notified of the incident.
Dutra was booked at the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
This is an ongoing investigation.
