5Cities Homeless Coalition opens warming center this week

GROVER BEACH, Calif. -- The 5Cities Homeless Coalition will open a warming center Thursday.

The agency said that day is meeting the weather criteria of 50 percent chance of rain or temperatures dropping below 40 degrees.

The shelter, located at LifePoint Church, will be open from 5 p.m. Thursday until 7 a.m. Friday.

Anyone wanting to volunteer at the warming center is asked to contact the 5Cities Homeless Coalition.
