SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Police say no foul play is suspected after a woman's body was found near a residential neighborhood over the weekend.

The body was discovered on the sidewalk on the 4400 block of Poinsettia Street early Saturday morning.

Fire personnel and paramedics rendered first aid but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy confirmed that the woman had no signs of trauma and foul play was not suspected. Police say the woman, a 29-year-old San Luis Obispo resident, suffered from multiple ongoing medical issues.

The official cause of death is pending toxicology results and a detail result from the San Luis Obispo County Medical Examiner, police said.
