The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art will be hosting a trip to the Getty Center in January.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The San Luis Obispo Museum of Art will be hosting a few family friendly events this November through January.

This Thursday, the museum will host their monthly game night from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The museum said games will be available for all skill levels and participants are welcome to bring their own favorite games.

There will be food and drinks available for purchase, but admission to the game night is free.

The museum will be hosting a film night next Monday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m.

They will be showing a 72-minute documentary about the career of Henri Cartier-Bresson, a frustrated painter who became a world-renowned photographer.

Suggested donations for attendance are $5 for members and $7 for nonmembers.

On Sunday, Dec. 1, the museum will be participating in their third annual Museum Store Sunday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

This international event is hosted by the Museum Store Association and encourages shoppers to purchase holiday gifts from their local non-profit retailers.

Lastly, the Manet in LA will take attendees down to the Getty Center in Los Angeles on Jan. 11.

Registration will be $115 for members and $135 for nonmembers which include transportation, admission, and a guided tour of Manet and Modern Beauty with Curator Scott Allan.
