Fire breaks out in Orcutt home

Firefighters responded to a fire in Orcutt Thursday evening

ORCUTT, Calif. - Firefighters responded to a fire inside an Orcutt home Thursday evening.

The fire broke out around 5:50 p.m. at a home on the 800 block of Manda Court.

A first alarm structure fire response was called including four engines, a battalion chief and an ambulance.

When the first engine arrived on scene, smoke was showing and firefighters immediately began battling the flames.

Crews said nobody was inside.

Crews remained on scene through 6:30 p.m., to continue to put out the flames and clear smoke from the structure. The fire caused about $25,000 in damage.

No one was injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
