SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Santa Barbara Humane Society's Dori Villalon dropped by the morning news with a 9-year-old Beagle-Retriever mix named Benson.

Benson is loving, house trained, knows how to sit and shake and ready to find a furever family. His previous owner described him as a couch potato who occasionally has bouts of playful energy. He was surrendered to Santa Barbara Humane when his owner needed to move out of state.
