How to find down ballot election results
Although the Presidential Election will receive most of the attention Election Day, a number of important issues will be voted on and positions will be filled as votes are counted across the state.
These smaller races are called Down Ballot races because they appear lower on the ballot, but their importance can't be overstated.
Many important races will come to a conclusion on Tuesday, and here's how you can find results of the elections that affect you:
City council races, school board races and county positions will be voted on in San Luis Obispo County on Election Day. Many cities will also hold elections for Community Service Districts.

Santa Barbara County will see a number of important races come to a conclusion on Election Day. These races include local elections featured in our 2020 Voter Guide, as well as other races that were not featured. These races include open seats for the Santa Barbara City College Board of Trustees and local school bond measures for Goleta School District and Cold Spring Elementary School.

Ventura County has a number of important races that will be decided on Election Day. Ojai and Oxnard will hold elections for the mayor's seat, Ventura County Community College District Trustees will see new appointments, and many school districts will see new board members elected.
