2019 Downtown Santa Barbara Holiday Parade

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- The Annual Holiday Parade will hit the streets of Santa Barbara on Friday night.

The 67th Annual Downtown Holiday Parade kicks off at 6:30 p.m.

The event will bring out high-stepping marching bands, fabulous holiday-themed floats, spectacular performance groups, local personalities and the soon to be announced Grand Marshal.

The event theme will be "A Tropical Holiday".

Officials hope to see parade goers wearing Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts and leis to help show the "sunny and laid back attitude" of Santa Barbara.

The annual parade is presented by Consumer Fire Products Incorporation.

The selected winning artwork, The Holiday Prince and Fairy, will lead the parade and light up the community Christmas tree on the parade route.
