Central Coast counties partner to waive pet adoption fees for Saturday, July 1

SANTA BARBARA AND VENTURA COUNTIES, Calif. – Santa Barbara County Animal Services and Ventura County Animal Services have teamed up to help local shelter pets find homes by waiving adoption fees at all five shelters in both counties on Saturday, Jul. 1.

Participating shelters are listed below.

Santa Barbara County:

Ventura County:

This collaborative effort from both county organizations applies to all animals over one year old.

While adoption fees are waived, there may still be a license fee depending on the location. This fee will help ensure each adopted pet gets the proper licensing, vaccinations, and identification.

All shelter animals leave spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea-treated, and microchipped.
