Fires at the same address in Vandenberg Village knocked down Monday and early Tuesday

VANDENBERG VILLAGE, Calif. – Firefighters have knocked down two structure fires in as many days at a three-unit residence in the 200 block of Orion Avenue.

On Monday, July 7, at 12:55 p.m., fire crews were dispatched to a structure fire that was successfully knocked down at 1:11 p.m. and displaced six people who lived there detailed the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

Early Tuesday morning, at 12:46 a.m., a different fire at the same address but a different unit, ignited and was knocked down at 2:12 a.m. detailed the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

The second fire was not a rekindle of the original fire noted Captain Safechuck with the Santa Barbara County Fire Department to Your News Channel and the residents of all three units remain displaced by the earlier fire.

There were no injuries from either fire response, and the cause of both fires are currently under separate investigations clarified the Santa Barbara County Fire Department to Your News Channel.
