Fire crews put out 10 acre vegetation fire in Los Alamos

LOS ALAMOS, Calif. – The Santa Barbara County Fire Department helped put out a 10-acre vegetation fire in Los Alamos at Alisos Canyon Road.

The fire first broke out at 4:48 p.m. Sunday and no injuries or structural/equipment damage were reported, according to the SBCFD.

A helicopter and many other vehicles helped with the fire response, explained the SBCFD.

The fire was fully contained as of 11:02 a.m. Monday thanks to overnight crews and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, detailed the SBCFD.
