Fire crews assist with kitchen fire on Main and Ann streets in Ventura Monday afternoon
VENTURA, Calif. – First responders treated a patient for smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire in a home on Main and Ann Streets in Ventura Monday, according to the Ventura City Fire Department (VCFD).
Crews arrived within six minutes of the incident of the original call time at 3:40 p.m. and found smoke emerging from the home and extinguished a fire in the kitchen within ten minutes, explained the VCFD.
The patient was later taken to Community Memorial Hospital by AMR for more treatment as 23 total fire personnel were on scene from various agencies, detailed the VCFD.
