LOMPOC, Calif. (KEYT) - The preliminary hearing for Lompoc city councilman Steve Bridge’s fraud charges is on day four.

Steve’s sons Brandon Bridge and Scott Turner both concluded their testimonies regarding work that was done at the Oddfellows Hall and Certain Sparks Music, as well as a private residence.

Following their testimonies, an employee of the Lompoc Utilities division took the stand.

Prosecutor Brian Cota had the employee describe how the city rebate programs work, emphasizing the addition of the licensed contractor requirement, which was based on public feedback.

The employee says the application for the private residence’s water leak repair rebate was flagged due to an incorrect address on the application.
