Ventura police investigating armed robbery at Blenders

VENTURA, Calif. – Ventura police are investigating after a smoothie and juice bar was robbed Saturday evening.

At around 7:30 p.m., Ventura police responded to Blenders in the Grass at 1145 S. Victoria Ave. after receiving reports of an armed robbery.

Police arrived on scene and were told that a man entered the business, brandished a knife and demanded money from the clerk. He then fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic man wearing black clothing, a black beanie and a blue mask.

Police searched the area, but the man was not located.
