SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – A Morro Bay man wanted in Fresno County for violating his probation on drug charges was arrested last week in San Luis Obispo County.

On Tuesday, Nov. 2, authorities tracked down the 55-year-old at the San Luis Obispo Amtrak station.

As the man exited an Amtrak bus, he was apprehended by San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Deputies.

Investigators found more than a pound of meth in plastic bags in his luggage along with three digital scales.

According to the SLO Sheriff's office, the street value of the drugs is around $2,000.

The man was arrested for possession of drugs for sale, traveling with a controlled substance and probation violations.
