Deputies investigating armed robbery in Carpinteria

CARPINTERIA, Calif. - Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating an armed robbery in Carpinteria.

It happened around 12:15 p.m. in the Casitas Plaza at 5412 Carpinteria Ave.

The sheriff's office said the robber has not been located.

A shelter-in-place order was not issued.
