Pismo Beach police searching for armed robbery, attempted murder suspects
PISMO BEACH, Calif. - The Pismo Beach Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two suspects allegedly involved in an armed robbery and attempted homicide incident Sunday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the 7-Eleven on Dolliver Street around 5:58 a.m. for a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
Police said there were two suspects involved, but both fled the scene before officers arrived. Their vehicle is described as a 2000s or newer white Ford Expedition with a black luggage roof-rack, gray or brown running boards, rear tinted windows and chrome wheels.
The suspects themselves were captured on the store's surveillance cameras.
Police describe Suspect #1 as being a Hispanic man in his 30s who is about 6 feet tall and weighs 250 to 275 pounds. He is light-complected, wearing a black face-covering mask, a black pullover hooded sweatshirt with white strips on the upper sleeves, long black shorts, white socks, black and white Nike athletic shoes and gloves.
Suspect #2 is described as a Hispanic woman in her 20s. She is about 5 feet tall with a thin build, light complexion and is wearing a red bandana face covering, black knit beanie hat, a black sweatshirt with "ATI" on the back, black slim-fit pants, black and white athletic shoes and gloves.
Police said Suspect #1 cornered the victim behind the register counter while Suspect #2 stole Lottery tickets and cigarettes.
During the robbery, Suspect #1 stabbed the victim multiple times causing non-life threatening injuries.
