Man wanted in connection to stabbing in Lompoc
LOMPOC, Calif. - Lompoc police are searching for a man wanted for a stabbing that took place Tuesday afternoon.
Police responded to the 800 block of G. Street at around 2:20 p.m. Police found a man lying in a courtyard with a single stab wound. The man received aid from paramedics and was eventually taken to the hospital by air ambulance.
Investigators identified Alex Denys Medina, 32, of Lompoc as a suspect in the stabbing. Medina is Hispanic with brown eyes, black hair and facial hair. He's 5-foot-5 and weighs 160 pounds.
Police are asking for anyone with information about the investigation or Medina's whereabouts to come forward. Anonymous tips can be submitted through the Lompoc police app or by calling 805-736-2341.
