Hit-and-run driver sought in Oxnard after bicyclist struck, hospitalized

OXNARD, Calif. - A bicyclist was struck by a car Friday morning along Oxnard Blvd. near Gonzalez Rd. in Oxnard.

Oxnard Police say the female bicyclist was hit around 1:50 a.m. and the driver of the vehicle fled the scene. Police are currently looking for the driver, but have not released a vehicle description.

The woman was taken to Ventura County Medical Center where she is in surgery for her injuries. There is no update on her condition.
