Arrest made in Paso Robles bank robbery investigation

Billy Benjamin Hernandez, 47, is a person of interest in connection to this incident.

PASO ROBLES, Calif. - Paso Robles police have made an arrest in connection to the bank robbery on Friday.

Police say they arrested Michael Wallravin, 61, after a short foot pursuit in Paso Robles.

With the help of a CHP helicopter, the FBI and The San Luis Obispo police, a white Chevy 1500 was successfully located in San Miguel.

Police found Wallravin to be the registered owner of the vehicle and located him in Paso Robles.

Wallravin was quickly taken into custody on suspicion of robbing the Pacific Premier Bank on 12th street in Downtown Paso Robles Friday morning.

San Luis Obispo jail logs report that Wallravin was taken in at 1:26 a.m. Saturday morning. His bond is set at $60,000.

Detectives have also identified two individuals of interest: William Weldon Chandler, 61, and Billy Benjamin Hernandez, 47, who they plan to speak with about this investigation.
