Police pursued wanted felon in Arroyo Grande

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - Police pursued a wanted felon on Thursday in Arroyo Grande. 

Police arrested Daniel Morin, 37, of Nipomo on outstanding felony arrest warrant, felony evading a peace officer, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance for sale. 

Arroyo Grande Police officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Morin, a wanted felon. 

Morin did not stop his vehicle, instead he led officers on a brief vehicle pursuit which lead to a foot pursuit. 

Morin was taken into custody on the 1000 block of East Grand Avenue in Arroyo Grande. 

During the foot pursuit, two Arroyo Grande officers sustained minor injuries. 

Morin also sustained minor injuries. 

Morin was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
