Southern California ski season kicking off this week

BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. – So Cal's ski and snowboard season begins in just a few days.

Big Bear Mountain Resort opens for the season on Friday, Dec. 3 to the general public and Dec. 2 for passholders.

Both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit will be open.

Two chairs will be open on each mountain.
