A shooting at a Texas flea market killed a child and wounded 4 other people, police say
PEARLAND, Texas (AP) — Police say three children and two adults were shot at a Texas flea market, with a 10-year-old boy later dying at a hospital. The Pearland Police Department says two people who did not know each other argued and exchanged gunfire inside Cole’s Flea Market. Police officers responded to the call about 5:30 p.m. Sunday. The four others who were hurt are ages 14, 16, 18 and 37. Authorities said Monday that an arrest warrant has been issued for one suspect, 19-year-old David Negrete, who’s believed to be one of the shooters. The Pearland area is about 17 miles south of Houston.
