SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Local author Lorissa Rinehart drops by the Morning News to talk about her new book "First To The Front: The Untold Story of Dickey Chapelle, Trailblazing Female War Correspondent".

Rinehart grew up in Santa Barbara, graduated from San Marcos High School and recently moved back to the area to raise her family.

Rinehart's book highlights a woman who risked everything to get important stories out to the masses from the front lines of Okinawa, Hungary, Algeria and Cuba.
