Cal Fire rescues two surfers near Cayucos Pier

CAYUCOS, Calif. -- Cal Fire SLO rescued two surfers in distress off the shores of Cayucos State Beach.

Firefighters responded to scene at 12:06 Thursday afternoon near D St. and Ocean Front Ln. in Cayucos.

Shortly after, crews were able to rescue the surfers and bring them in to shore.

Cal Fire said both patients are well and suffered no injuries.
