All lanes reopen on HWY 154 after crash near Stagecoach Road
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - All lanes are open after a crash shutdown a portion of Highway 154 Tuesday morning.
It happened on the Santa Barbara side near Stagecoach Road and was blocking lanes for more than an hour.
The accident was reported by the California Highway Patrol around 5 a.m. involving two vehicles. CHP said debris scattered on the roadway. For about a half-hour both lanes were blocked following the crash.
By 5:45 a.m. alternating traffic was allowed in the westbound lane, and by 6:20 a.m. both lanes were back open.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
