Firefighters knock down fire at homeless encampment in Paso Robles
PASO ROBLES, Calif. - Firefighters are on the scene of a small fire at a homeless encampment in Paso Robles.
It broke out Thursday morning in the riverbed behind Sulfer Springs and was quickly contained.
There was concern because of the high temperatures in the forecast. But, crews said winds are calm and heat is not a factor.
No one was hurt.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
