Santa Maria pizza restaurant helps Good Samaritan Shelter during COVID-19

GOOD SAMARITAN

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Bello Forno was at Good Samaritan in Santa Maria with their 3,000 lb wood burning pizza oven on Monday.

They donated pizza to the homeless.

Owners of the restaurant say it's been a challenging time for the business.

They wanted to help the local shelter.

"Our community has blessed Bello Forno through this COVID experience and we wanted to give something back to a great cause and we couldn't think of anything better than this shelter," Bob Spallino said.

Pizza was also sold to the public. 100 percent of proceeds will go to the shelter.
