Saturday evening forecast Jan 18th

Despite some cloudiness at times, we enjoyed a very nice day with cool to mild temperatures. High pressure continues to hold Pacific storms at bay driving them over the top of us. For Sunday, look for early morning offshore winds and more clouds, but temperatures should actually warm a little. Highs will be in the 60's and maybe even low 70's after starting out in the 30's and 40's!
Looking ahead, another storm system will knock on our door early next week. Monday, MLK day, should be cloudy with slightly cooler temperatures. By Tuesday, a slight chance for showers comes in to play. Our forecast computers are dealing with some wide swinging solutions and solid agreement has yet to come in to play. So, that means we continue to monitor each model run looking for more confidence and consistency. For now, the best chance for sprinkles will be for areas to the north of Pt. Conception and temperatures will stay on the cool side. Clearing is expected by mid week and beyond that, we expected to see more sunshine and mild temperatures. A storm system may approach our region beyond next week, but that's a long way off for any concern just yet!
