Santa Maria Police, 7-Eleven and Kindergarten student surprise kids with gifts

CHRISTMAS GIFT DELIVERY

SANTA MARIA, Calif. - Kids in Santa Maria got a big surprise, thanks to the Santa Maria Police Department, the 7-Eleven in Orcutt and a kindergarten student.

Kindergarten student Jocelyn Kennedy saved her allowance in order to buy presents for all of her classmates.

Kids screamed on as they opened their presents.

The kids are from Juan Pacifico Ontiveros Elementary and Taylor Elementary schools.

Dozens of brand new balls were also given to both of the schools.

“I'm very happy because we like to share and give back to the community with our kids. So we decided to share gifts to the whole class,” said owner Ravi Chahal with the 7-Eleven in Orcutt.

"I'm excited because I helped get presents for my classmates," Kennedy said.

The kids who got the gifts are in kindergarten and second grade.
