UPDATE: Lompoc Police identify and arrest attempted robbery suspect

UPDATE:

The Lompoc Police Department have arrested and identified the man who tried to steal a woman’s money Monday night.

He is described as a Hispanic male juvenile. Due to him being a minor, no other information will be provided at this time.

The Lompoc Police Department is searching for a man they say tried to steal a woman’s money.

It happened Monday at 10:43 a.m. in a residential neighborhood in Northwest part of the city.

The suspect ran from the scene after the woman screamed that she didn’t have any money.

Officers searched the surrounding area extensively, but were unable to find the man.

Police say he could be an 18 to 21-year-old Hispanic male adult.
