Oxnard police searching suspects after two men are stabbed

The Oxnard Police Department is investigating after two young men showed up at a local hospital with multiple stab wounds.

According to Oxnard police, a 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man arrived at the Ventura County Medical Center around 11:45 p.m. Saturday night suffering from multiple stab wounds. Police say both injuries are considered to be serious.

Investigators established a crime scene on the 600 block of South D Street, where the stabbing is believed to have happened.

Police are piecing together what happened but say the investigation is ongoing.

Police officials say the city is committed to reducing gang crime and gun violence in the city.
