Victim identified in Santa Maria homicide
Santa Maria police identified the man killed in a shooting Sunday afternoon.
Officers say 33-year-old Jose Gonzalez Medina was shot and killed at 805 Tacos on 1018 West Main Street.
Police found him with multiple gunshot wounds by the time they got to the scene.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police said Monday morning that no arrests have been made and the case is still under investigation.
