Police investigate deadly shooting at taco restaurant in Santa Maria

Santa Maria police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead Sunday.

It happened Sunday afternoon at 805 Tacos at 1018 W. Main St.

Santa Maria police said no arrests had been made and the investigation is still ongoing.

Officials will withhold the victim’s name, age and hometown until they notify family members.

Santa Maria police says an update might be released later Sunday night.

No other information has been released at this time.
